Film editor and photographer

My editing work is mainly UK broadcast television and over the years I have worked in most genres from Documentaries and Current Affairs to Light Entertainment, Features and Drama.
Many of the programmes I have worked on have won awards such as 'This World - The Shame of the Catholic Church' (left) which won a national Bafta for best documentary.
Nazi Hunters for ITV as the real story behind the drama 'The Walk In', only with the real main characters appearing in interview for the first time.
'A Tale of Two Thieves' was great fun to work on. Thanks to Simon Howley, the producer, we had several exclusive interviews with Gordon Goody, one of the main instigators of the Great Train Robbery of 1963. He told us all about his life of crime and gave insight in to the elusive 'Irishman' who, it was claimed, first came to the thieves with the info about the cash on the train and who, after the robbery, vanished without trace.
I learnt from Gordon that the best place to be when blowing a safe is sat on top of it. Something I have yet to put to the test.
Other credits include;
The Story of Bohemian Rhapsody - Grierson award winning film about the making of the Queen hit.
This O.B.E. is not for me - Benjamin Zephaniah tells us why he turned down the OBE and visits others such as Joan Armatrading who accepted hers.
The Day we Walked on the Moon 1hr doc marking the anniversary of the moon landing with interviews from a host of celebs, mission control and Michael Collins who didn't get to walk on the moon but, as he put it, kept the taxi running.
TikTok Murder Gone Viral - Murders that played out on TikTok.

I have been a passionate photographer all my life and as well as doing paid commissions, I spend a lot of time doing photography for my own pleasure.
I'm based in Manchester, UK and I especially enjoy street photography.
On the left is 'Ray', sadly no longer with us, who was part of the legendary street band 'The Piccadilly Rats'.
I am an avid traveller and have travelled extensively for both work and pleasure.
The pictures in the gallery below are just a few examples of my work.
All of my photographs are available to buy either as a stand alone print, (I normally supply 10 x 12 but it's your choice) or as a signed and framed picture.
I am currently working on a catalogue of available prints.
I don't generally send framed prints in the post as, despite packing them really well, I've had several problems with broken glass. Even with couriers. So collection or delivery can be arranged. Prints can be sent in protected packaging.
It's difficult to show all prices as it varies depending on size of print and/or type of frame but as a rule the prints range from £50 - £150 and the framed prints from £120 - £450.
If you'd like to contact me to find my availability, order a print, say hello or for whatever reason, please do. There is a contact section below.
Any suggestions for site improvement are greatly appreciated. I love feedback.
